A Year in High Heels

A personal blog following the book "A Year in High Heels" by Camilla Morton

January 9th

Today Ms. Morton does us the favor of reminding us of the origin of income tax in the UK, and encourages us to have our paperwork in order. I find this particularly funny, as it makes me wonder who this book is intended for, as anyone who qualifies as a girl is unlikely to be worried about income taxes. Incidentally, I do need to decide how much money to save back for income taxes for my small business. It’s a small small small business, but I still need to figure out if I should save 25% from my net profit or based off my gross income? I have a feeling that so far I’ve done the math wrong and I have set too much aside into savings.
